    Beier Radio acquires Sentinel Control

    Company News // February 22, 2012

Beier Radio has acquired Sentinel Control, expanding and strengthening Beier’s marine electronics product line, engineering, and support services provided to commercial vessels.

Sentinel designs and manufactures high quality control and instrumentation products used for vessel management, steering, cargo loading and unloading, navigation light panels, shaft tachometers, engine controls, and thruster controls.

Beier Radio is a leading supplier of dynamic positioning systems and vessel control
    systems.

With the addition of the Sentinel division, Beier Radio will now design, manufacture,
sell, and service every component of the vessel control system from the wheelhouse to the rudders.

“Not only does the acquisition greatly strengthen our product line, but it also doubles the size of our engineering department, and significantly increases the size of our field service staff. It demonstrates Beier Radio’s ongoing commitment to grow and diversify to meet the everchanging needs and demands of the global marine market,” says Beier Radio president Karl Beier.
