    Heron heads off to dock

Contracts, Tenders and Rates // June 25, 2004
During May the Torm Heron headed to dock to prepare for hand over to Tidewater. The KMAR 404 AHTS vessel has been on bare boat charter to Gulf Offshore for the past five years.

The vessel was sold by then owners Torm A/S to Tidewater in 2000, but thenew owners Tidewater have been unable to take full delivery of the vessel until now because Gulf Offshore exercised the options they held on the bare boat charter.

Tidewater has renamed the vessel Howard Houge, and it is expected that she will depart the North Sea for what broker Seabrokers described as "distant shores."
