    Bourbon Opale departs for conversion work

    The latest addition to Bourbon Offshore's fleet is, Bourbon Opale, has departed for Great Yarmouth in the UK where the vessel will be outfitted with topsides tobecome a well testing vessel, capable of processing a wide range of crude oil.

    Her capacity will be up to 10,000 bopd, 5,000 bwpd and 26 MMscfd of gas.

    Once the engineering, fabrication and installation of the new equipment is completed, the vessel will head for the Gulf of Mexico to commence a four-year charter for the Mexican state owned company Petróleos Mexicanos Pemex).

    Expro International Group is the company contracted to provide the process topsides.
