Vroon Offshore held the name-giving ceremonies for VOS Premier and VOS Venturer on 2 May in Aberdeen in the UK.
VOS Premier, the third PSV in a series of four vessels built at Cochin Shipyard in India, is a standard Rolls Royce PSV and an identical sister to VOS Precious and VOS Prelude.
VOS Venturer is a field-support vessel, built at the Astilleros Zamakona Shipyard, Pasaia in Spain.
Both vessels are currently operating in the North Sea on charter to BP. They are part of an arrangement between BP Exploration Operating Company Ltd and the Vroon Offshore Services companies in Den Helder and Aberdeen, involving two PSVs and two emergency response and rescue vessels.
