OMM opens new, larger office in CambridgeCompany News // May 16, 2011
Marine solutions provider Offshore Marine Management (OMM) has opened a new larger office in Cambridge in the UK o accommodate the company’s continued growth, which it says is driven by an expanding client base and new business wins, including the inter-array cable installation at Greater Gabbard offshore windfarm.
The new office is four times the size of the previous premises and will house the company’s submarine cable installation and maintenance, operations and maintenance, survey and inspection, subsea engineering and R&D departments.
It will also allow for OMM’s planned expansion for the second half of 2011 and throughout 2012.
OMM Managing Director, Rob Grimmond said the substantially increased office space will allow OMM to establish a dedicated survey and inspection engineering workshop and storage area including an asset management suite, final deliverables preparation, compilation and delivery area, as well as a new subsea engineering development section.
“I am delighted with the new office in Cambridge and the opportunity it offers OMM to further expand into key business areas such as cable installation, subsea inspection and operations and maintenance,” he said.
