    Broker provides update on secondhand market

    Offshore Shipbrokers Ltd (OSL) reports that the AHTS Ocean King (built 2000 - 15,000BHP) has been sold to Ocean King KS, a company managed by Ostensjo on private terms. The purchase is against a four year contract with Pemex in Mexico.

    OSL has sold the DSV DSND Mayo (built 1987) on private terms to Petroleum Marine Services for use in Egypt. The vessel has already been delivered and renamed PMS Mayo.

    DSV Seaway Pioneer has been sold to buyers in Dubai for a price of approximately US$ 1,000,000.

    Nomis Shipping continues its buying spree with the purchase of the AHTS Smit Lloyd 57 (built 1987 - 5,300BHP). The asking price for the vessel was in excess of US$5,000,000. The vessel will be available West Africa towards the end of the month and is expected to head in an easterly direction.
