    Delba takes delivery of anchor handler

    Seabrokers reports that Delba Maritima Navegacao Ltda, the joint venture between Brazilian entrepreneur Newton Lins and French offshore vessel operator, Surf, the subsidiary of GroupeBourbon, has taken delivery of a newbuild UT722 anchor handler, Geonisio Barroso, from FELS Setal's Brasfels shipyard in Brazil.

    The vessel is now due to commence an eight-year charter with Petrobras. This is the first in a series of three UT722 vessels, with the Yvan Barretto and Haroldo Ramos set to deliver from the same yard in the coming six months or so.
