    Vessel & ROV News // January 25, 2011

Acta Marine in The Netherlands has taken delivery of its most powerful workboat to date, a newbuild anchor handling tug with 50 tonnes bollard pull. On January 6th the vessel was named Coastal Vanguard in Rotterdam.

Coastal Vanguard was built by Damen Shipyards and is a Shoalbuster 3209 design. The 3209 type is amongst the largest and most powerful in the Shoalbuster range.

Acta Marine said it anticipates "strong demand" for the services of the new vessel, particularly for offshore wind and cable/pipeline installation projects.
