Drydocks World SEA launches self-propelled jack-upYard News // November 9, 2010
Drydocks World has launched the self-propelled jack-up construction vessel Nora at its Graha shipyard in Indonesia.
Nora was built for Master Marine in Norway, designed by Global Maritime and classed by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).
The jack-up is 111.8m long and has accommodation for up to 260 people. The DP2 vessel has two pedestal cranes, each with 750 tonnes capacity and a large open deck.
Nora will be used to install wind turbines and two substation modules on the Sheringham Shoal offshore windfarm in the UK on behalf of Scira Offshore Energy Limited.
