GO Offshore gets crewing deal from SaipemCompany News // October 11, 2010
Saipem has awarded the crewing of the DP2 ROV vessel, Miclyn Endurance, to GO Offshore.
The vessel will be working throughout the remainder of 2010 and into 2011 in the Bass Strait on the Kipper Turrum Tuna project.
GO Offshore's Business Development Manager, Brad George, said that the company was "very pleased" to have been awarded its first contract direct with Saipem and is looking forward to continuing the history that it has of working with vessels managed by Miclyn Express Offshore.
The vessel will be involved mainly in inspection and survey activities during the project that will enhance Esso's operations off of southern Australia. Miclyn Endurance last worked in Australia for ENI on the Blacktip project.
