    Island Enforcer secures two contracts

    Island Offshore in Norways says its latest newbuilding, the subsea construction vessel Island Enforcer, recently delivered by Bergen Group, has gone straight into a spot market charter with Norske Shell which wil utilise the vessel's subsea cranes and the brand new 200hp Schilling Work class ROV. The project is in the Ormen Lange field.

    The vessel has also been contracted by Det Norske Oljeselskap through NeoDrill AS to perform pre-rig activity, consisting of installation of a 6m x 12m, 80 tonne CAN and conductor at the Dovregubben field 6305/9-2, PL 468.

    The vessel is presently being marketed world wide for long term subsea construction work.
